Every year
many people die due to kidney failure and it is the 9th leading
cause of death in the US. As of February 2014, more than 99,000 people were on
the waiting list for a kidney, which is to say a lot of people are in need of.
With the use
of 3D printers it can be revolutionary for the progress of healthcare
technology and can improve and save the lives of many patients who have been
inflicted in kidney disease variants. This is a very innovative use of technology which is life changing towards future illnesses.
